Dont do this DIY keretin treatment : personal review.

If you are person with frizzy and messy hair with split ends, you definetly must have been looking home remedies to treat them.

Recently I browsed youtube for diy hair treatment for damaged hair as I dont want to add more chemicals to my already damaged hair.

As the current pandemic situations, I dont want to go to any saloons either.

So I came across a video.  The before and after results impressed me too much. The person in the video had a frizzy hair just like I had and after taking the treatment she had a pretty hair just like the person had gone through a real keretin treatment. I decided to give it a try.

Wait till you hear the results.

Below are the ingredients for the hair mask.

  • Rice
  • Coconut milk
  • Olive oil
  • Corn starch

Procedure.

Boil the rice until you can't make it to a paste. After boiling the rice put it in a grinder, next add the other ingredients one by one.

And apply it to the whole hair.

I did as instructed. The paste was gooey. And I regret doing it. Although I mixed it to a smooth paste as much as possible, some particles of the rice stayed the same. I dont know whether if it was a fault with the food grinder but reading the comments, some said the same. And those particles were really a challenge to wash away. It took like ages to send them away from my hair as they stayed stucked and pasted.

Okay! Atleast I thought the results would be amazing. Guess what? The hair was same as before

Everything on internet isn't true.  Trying this only wasted my energy and time. I was disappointed.

Once again I browsed YouTube for reviews on the same treatment.  I should have done that first. There were many review videos on the same topic and everybody said that it doesnt work.

Finally, I dont recommend these type of treatment. This taughted me to learn about anything before experimenting.

Thanks for reading. Hope this would be helpful .
