Sri lanka

 Hello. This is the first blogpost I'm talking about my country. Here I have written about my country in a nutshell.  


Sri lanka is a small island which is south to india and Also known as the pearl of Indian Ocean. Sri Lanka has got a vast history. According to the history, the natural geographical location of the island was one of the main reason that many foreign countries wanted to capture this county. Its location lies on a worlds busiest shipping routes, connecting to east europe Asia, middle east.

Sri jayawardanapura kotte is the capital city of the country.
It's a Buddhist country. Mother tongue of the country is sinhala. Secondary language Tamil and English being a recognised language.
Sri Lanka is home for various cultures and ethnicities. Buddhist, Catholics, hindu and Muslim are included.

People in our country are friendly and spend a simple lifestyle.

It Also has got a rich culture and tradition, mainly influenced on sinhalese and Tamils.

Upcountry cultural dance (Uda rata netum) is one of my favourite.



Here are some of the traditional foods of our country.

Here are some art and crafts done by Sri Lankans. Most of them are handmade.


Sri lanka has got a magnificent weather system throughout the island. Normally, it's cool in the central province and hot in the north east. Sometimes its warm during the daytime and cool during the night in kandy. Variety of vegetable plantations happen in the central province. City for commerce is Colombo.

Plantations such as paddy, tea, spices and vegetables etc are common in sri lanka. Most of the goods are exported. 



It Is also a land of gems and minerals. Varities of gems are found in this soil.


Nature is everywhere through out the country.

This is place you can live in peace. A place where you can travel and have fun.



Sri lanka was ranked top country by lonely planet in 2019.

Well known for elephants and national parks too.

The Colorful History of Growing With Grandparents

But their memories live within us. Growing up with grandparents When my brothers and I were kids, we used to sit and listen to our grandparents flashbacks. The most asked story was about their love story. I still remember the smile on her face whenever we bring the topic. It was a love marriage. My grandma says, " he fell in love with me because of my beautiful long hair ". It was true indeed. Even in her  Late seventies, she had silver, thick, long, healthy hair. Should i get a domain for blogger.

 This is the first time I'm going to write about blogging and and vps Web Hosting. VPS means virtual private server.    As I'm still new to blogging, you might have seen that my blogsite is still on a free domain. Why I didn't invest on a Web host? Writing is my passion. I started blogging not only with the purpose of earning money. As I only wanted to provide audience with inspiration, I didn't have the encouragement to buy a domain. Make a person's day Happy

"If you have the chance to make people happy, just do it. Sometimes people are struggling silently. Maybe, your act if kindness can make their day." Many Lonely people are among everyone of us. There are little things we can do to make them happy.  Here is some thing I came across this evening. I can understand how this person suffer from inside. Here's a little thing you can do to cheer your loved ones. It can be your parents, siblings, cousins or friends. Definitely do this! If you couldnt arrange a party atleast Get together and suprise him/her with ligting some candles on a cake.  Midnight surprises are the best :) The happiness of being surprised on a moment like this would be priceless! I personally would do this for every family member, friends or relatives. Definetly, Every body of us would get together and do a midnight suprise party. Its really fun. Cutting the cake, blowing the candles, taking pictures, applying icing on each others faces and making memories.  ...
